    “PTS WORLD TAIWAN”<\/strong> is an English audiovisual service platform established by Taiwan Public Television (PTS). It uses various digital channels, such as YouTube and social networks, to provide PTS’s high-quality programs to global audiences. This allows Taiwan’s local features to be shared internationally, offering international viewers a window to understand Taiwan and its culture in depth. The channel covers a wide range of content, including drama, documentaries, news, children’s programs, and lifestyle, while providing online news services in English, Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. In addition to many programs having bilingual subtitles, “PTS WORLD TAIWAN” also provides SRT subtitle services, allowing viewers from non-English-speaking regions to automatically translate subtitles into their local languages through YouTube’s technology. This ensures that non-English-speaking audiences can enjoy PTS’s excellent programs in their own language, sharing Taiwan’s local situation and culture with the world.<\/p>\n

    To further understand the usage of the platform by international individuals, we invite international students in Taiwan to participate in a survey and focus group discussion.
