二、依根特大學徵聘公告,本次徵選2名「臺灣講座教授」,任期各為4個月,分別於2026-2027學年度第1學期赴比利時根特大學及2026-2027學年度第2學期赴荷蘭格羅寧根大學任教與研究。

(一)申請資格:

1.具博士學位(社會科學、政治學、歷史與文化等領域,特別著重政治、國際關係、法律、經濟、當代或思想史、地緣政治等)。

2.具備臺灣及東亞研究之專業背景與教學經驗。

3.英語聽說讀寫能力良好。

4.具備教授「歐盟與東亞關係」相關碩士課程之能力。

5.優先考慮在休假期間的副教授或教授級教師。

Description:

1. This announcement is forwarded in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s Directive No. 1150007937A dated January 27, 2026, and the official letter from the Education Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium No. 1150120004 dated January 20, 2026.

2. According to the recruitment announcement issued by Ghent University, two (2) Taiwan Chair Holder positions are available under this call. Each appointment will be for a duration of four (4) months. One appointment will take place during the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year at Ghent University (Belgium). The other appointment will take place during the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year at Groningen University (the Netherlands). The selected professors will engage in teaching and research activities during their respective appointments.

3. Eligibility, Application Materials, Deadline, and Contact Information:

(1) Eligibility:

a. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in the social sciences, political science, history and culture, or related fields, with particular emphasis on politics, international relations, law, economics, contemporary or intellectual history, geopolitics, or related areas.

b. Applicants should have demonstrated academic expertise and teaching experience in Taiwan Studies and East Asian Studies.

c. Applicants must possess strong proficiency in English, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

d. Applicants should be capable of teaching master’s-level courses related to EU–East Asia relations.

e. Associate Professors or Professors currently on sabbatical leave will be given priority consideration.
