To promote academic exchange across the Taiwan Strait and strengthen cross-strait cooperation, the Cross-Strait Academic Cooperation Task Force is established.

Duties:

1. Plan academic exchange activities between the university and institutions in Mainland China.

2. Review sister school agreements with Mainland Chinese institutions, as well as faculty and student exchange matters.

3. Review funding applications for full-time faculty participating in cross-strait academic conferences.

4. Review subsidies for cross-strait collaborative research projects.

5. Plan and review other matters related to cross-strait exchange.
